Travellers have forced their way into land located next to Gidea Park Library after an earlier eviction today.

Families had been pictured in Central Park, Gooshays Drive, Harold Hill yesterday surrounding the children’s swings and slides.

But the travellers have now moved after a visit from Havering Council’s park protection officers earlier today.

It is thought that up to 20 vehicles are now in the section of private land which is in Balgores Lane, Gidea Park.

More to follow.
