A broken down train has caused the service between Romford and Upminster via Emerson Park to be suspended until 10.30am.

A replacement train will be available to enable the train service to resume with the 10.41am from Romford to Upminster and the 10.54am in the other direction from Upminster.

Abellio Greater Anglia tickets are being accepted on London Underground reasonable routes between London Fenchurch Street and Liverpool Street from Tower Hill and Aldgate.

An additional journey time of 30 minutes can be expected using the local bus services.

An Abellio Greater Anglia spokesman said: “We are sorry if this disruption affects your travel plans.”
