Thug hunted by police after unprovoked attack in Romford bar

A thug who carried out a serious and unprovoked attack on a teenager in a Romford bar is being hunted by police.

The assault took place in Kosho Bar in South Street at about 1am on Sunday May 31.

The 18-year-old victim was approached by the man and punched in the face by a complete stranger.

He was left with a swollen and bruised face and a chipped tooth and went to hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as white, in his early to mid-20s, of medium build and 5ft 10ins, with brown hair which was shaved at the sides and swept back on the top.

He was described as wearing a white shirt with a dark coloured long-sleeved jumper over the top and jeans.

He is believed to have been with a blonde woman wearing a white skirt and pink top.
