Firefighters called as three vehicles go up in flames in Upminster

Firefighters were called at midnight to reports of a fire in Upminster on Monday, August 27.

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to reports that vehicles were alight in Aveley Road.

One tractor and an HGV flatbed recovery vehicle were destroyed by the fire and part of a digger was also damaged.

Fire crews from Hornchurch, Wennington and Dagenham fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
