Three men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a shooting in Gidea Park last night.

The men aged 21, 26, and 27 were arrested after a 22-year-old man was shot in the leg in Kidman Close, Gidea Park, last night.

Police were called shortly before 11pm to a block of flats in Nyall Court.

The 22-year-old victim was taken to hospital and his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The three men remain in custody and officers from Trident, the Met’s shooting investigations team, are investigating.
