Thieves tried to steal lead from two properties.
The first incident was in Columbine Way, Harold Wood, on October 29 at midnight.
Police were also called to another attempted theft in neighbouring Juniper Way on the same day. The two cases are not believed to be linked.
Anyone with information should call police on 101.
