Thief steals £600 from 94-year-old Romford woman

A 94-year-old woman had £600 stolen from her home after becoming the latest victim of a distraction burglary.

The pensioner was targeted on Monday June 25 (yesterday) by the thief who knocked on her door in Edenhall Glen, Romford asking for change for a £20 note.

The suspect is described as a white male aged 30-40 years and 5’6”.

Anyone with information should call the police on 101.
