A teenage cyclist was taken to hospital after a road traffic collision in Hornchurch this morning.
The ambulance service said that the 15-year-old girl suffered hand injuries and a reduced level of consciousness after the incident which took place around 8am, and involved a Ford Focus.
She was taken to Queen’s Hospital as a priority for further examination of her injuries.
Parts of the area around Station Lane, were the incident took place, were closed off.
