‘Suspicious package’ under vehicle in Elm Park medical practice’s car park found empty

The “suspicious package” found yesterday, which was being investigated by police, turned out to be empty.

Police were called at 2.14pm, after a suitcase was found underneath a vehicle in a medical practice car park in Astra Close, Elm Park.

The vehicle had a police aware sticker on it and the suitcase had been placed underneath.

Police’s explosive team attended the scene to find the suitcase empty.
