Archant

A group of students marked their last day at school by hiring a fire engine to take them to their prom night.

Led by Joile Reed of Aveley Road, Romford, the eight friends from Marshalls Park School searched the web for transport and found the de-commissioned vehicle for hire from a limousine company.

The year 11 students joined their year group for a night of dancing at the Orsett Hall in South Ockendon on Wednesday (July 4).
