Commuters are facing delays and cancellations on the c2c line this evening due to Storm Doris.

All branches on the Fenchurch Street to Shoeburyness route are affected due to high winds and an object being caught in the overhead wires.

According to a member of staff at Upminster station, a tree has also fallen on the line between West Horndon and Upminster, causing further delays.

A number of trains in both directions have been cancelled, while others are being terminated early or skipping out stations.

Others are being diverted around the loop to pass via Dagenham Dock, Rainham and Ockendon, rather than direct from Barking to Upminster.

A shuttle train service is currently in place between West Horndon and Pitsea.

Tickets are being accepted on Greater Anglia and London Underground services.
