Silver Lake Spur Steak and Grill at the Lakeside Shopping Centre recently teamed up with the Romford Recorder to find a local sports team deserving of a �300 sponsorship award.
We are pleased to announce that the winners are the Romford Town Swimming Club!
The club has been running for 100 years, and has produced some fantastic swimmers. This year the team won the Essex League for the ninth successive year and ten of their swimmers qualified for nationals.
A spokesman for the restaurant said: “We had some great entries from local teams and wish we could help them all, but we’re so excited to be backing this fantastic team, and look forward to helping the team reach their goals! All other entrants will also get a Spur Steak & Grill family and friends card.”
Spur Steak and Grill is a family-friendly restaurant chain.
