Sport fans are in for a treat at the Mercury Mall in Romford.
Until August 12, a giant 32-foot wide diorama showing a timeline of all sports from the ancient Olympics to the present day is on display.
Shoppers are also invited to take part in the Romford Relay Treasure Hunt, looking for Romford’s sporting heroes displayed in specially selected shops.
The first 300 contestants to take part will win a medal.
The Mercury Sports Mastermind competition is also taking place at 12noon and 2pm, with finals taking place on Sunday, 12 August and a prize pot of �100.
Sarah de Courcy Rolls, deputy centre manager said: “The response to the diorama and our sporting activity has gained momentum since the start of the Olympics with many of our shops and stores all getting involved.”
