Canny Hornchurch shooter Josh Milton managed to grab two of these artistic shots as the snow fell this week.

Temperatures nosedived over the weekend and many of us woke up on Monday to find the first flakes falling from the sky. By lunchtime the air was thick with it.

Josh, 17, of Craigdale Road, took his first picture near the Robert Clack school in Dagenham.

His clever shot of ice crystals was taken near his home in Park Lane.

And Paula Wilcock, of Collier Row, captured this icy scene while out in Coxtie Green, Brentwood.
