Barking, Havering and Redbridge (BHR) NHS Trust, which runs Queen’s Hospital, Romford, has appointed a new chairman.
Sir Peter Dixon was given the position earlier this month.
Sir Peter Carr, chairman of the NHS Trust Development Authority – the body that makes appointments to NHS Trusts – said: “Sir Peter Dixon arrives at BHR at an important time for the Trust as it focuses on delivering sustainable, high quality services for the patients and communities it serves. I am grateful to George Wood for his services to the Trust and we will be working closely with Sir Peter and the rest of the Trust Board on the challenges that lie ahead.”
