Severe disruption is expected until 11am with trains being cancelled or delayed and some services between Barking and Pitsea being diverted.

The line between London Fenchurch Street and Shoeburyness is also affected with some trains being cancelled.

If passengers are delayed by more than 30 minutes, they can ask for compensation by visiting the C2C website.
