Residents can see the Royal Family in a whole new light as part of a new exhibition.
Paul Brandford’s Monarchy In The UK will be on show at the Brentwood Road Gallery based at Frances Bardsley School in Romford from tomorrow (Wednesday November 7) to Wednesday December 19.
Curator at the gallery, Denise Hickey said: “It’s a brilliant exhibition.
“It’s very satirical, people can see pictures of the Royal Family in very unusal locations and it makes people think about their role in society.”
The exhibition is a collection of royal portraits painted over the last seven years.
One of the pieces show a portrait of the Queen in a council estate.
The artist will be speaking about the exhibition at a special opening event tomorrow (Wednesday November 7).
Denise said: “He is a very well established artist and he is allowing people to form their own opinions about members of the Royal Family.
“The exhibition is part of our programme to offer a diverse range of work to the community.”
