School fete in Harold Hill has children’s fingerprints all over it after police visit

Harold Hill schoolchildren couldn’t keep their hands off the Gooshays Safer Neighbourhood Team.

Youngsters at the Dycorts School Fete on Settle Road were queuing up to have their fingerprints taken by the PCSOs while learning about crime prevention.

PCSO Alanna Yeomans said: “The children found the taking of their fingerprints fascinating and we seemed to have a queue waiting for us nearly all day. This was a very enjoyable day and allowed us to meet and talk with many members of our local community.”
