The day, organised by the Rush Green Community Association, in Rush Green Road, was full of sun, smiles, and ice cream galore.
Rose Wilson, press officer of the association, said the day was a fantastic highlight of their social calendar.
She said: “It went very, very well and was a lot of fun.
“There were two bouncy castles for the children and lots to eat and drink.
“We’re not sure how much we’ve raised yet.
“It was absolutely boiling, I don’t think we could have ever asked for better weather.”
On the day, the Mayor of Havering Cllr Phillipa Crowder attended, and residents enjoyed a range of stalls, including a tin can alley and tombola.
Rose said: “There was a lot of people this year, which is good.
“It helps residents to get to know each other.
“I think it was better than years before.
“This year it was absolutely excellent.”
