A Harold Hill charity is set to receive 12 months’ worth of fundraising after shoppers at a Chadwell Heath supermarket chose it as their charity of the year.
Sainsbury’s customers at the High Road store voted for Romford’s RSPCA Campbell Clinic as their favourite local charity last month.
The partnership was launched on Saturday June 30th at the Chippenham Road clinic’s 50th anniversary celebrations, and customers can now donate in-store to the clinic, which sees more than 200 animals a week.
Store manager Gareth Powell said: “RSPCA Campbell Clinic is such a worthy local cause and we’re pleased and proud to be supporting it over the next 12 months.”
