A cheerleading squad helped put Romford on the map by winning a national competition.
Romford Town Twilights Cheerleaders’ senior team took first place at the BCA Nationals in Telford, Shropshire, on March 30.
The team, which consists of girls and women aged 12 to 23, are now officially national champions – despite the fact they’ve only ever competed in one other national competition.
