Romford teenager assault sparks police appeal

Police are appealing for information on the assault of a teenager in Romford.

The 16-year-old boy was attacked by another boy in Kimberly Avenue on Thursday.

The incident happened at 9.50pm and the victim sustained cuts and bruising to the face before being taken to an east London hospital.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm. He has been released on bail until Friday, May 9 pending further enquiries.
