Sixth form pupils from Drapers Academy, Settle Road, Romford, went up against their teachers on Wednesday lunchtime.

The game caused a lot of excitement at the school, with a large number of people coming to watch.

The staff members were victorious after a strong start and the final score was 16-2 to the staff.

The sixth form team competed well and made it on to the scoreboard before half time and student Patrick Siasat got the first score.

P.E Teacher Jessica Saville, who organised the event, said: “This week has been sport week throughout the Academy and we have coincided this with Sport Relief. Today’s game was played with a great atmosphere and was thoroughly enjoyed by both staff and students. We hope to have raised a good amount of money for Sport Relief.”
