Police have cordoned off Romford station after a man was attacked in the early hours of the morning.

Officers were called to the station in South Street at 4.45am this morning when a 21-year-old man was assaulted.

His injuries were not life threatening.

Detectives cordoned off the station for most of the morning, and this is believed to still be in place.

No arrests have been made and inquiries continue.
