Romford solicitors raises money for Saint Francis Hospice

Businesses donated both their time and money for a good cause.

F Barnes Solicitors, based in Collier Row, Romford and Gidea Park hosted a charity day in aid of Saint Francis Hospice at Romford Bowls Club, Carlton Road, Romford, where more than 50 businessmen and women attended.

Joanne Druce, business development manager at F Barnes Solicitors, said: “The day was very nice and we were lucky that the weather held out for us.

“It was good to do something for such a worthy cause.”

F Barnes Solicitors, which has been celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, organised a day filled with games, an auction and a raffle for the charity.

More than £1,100 was raised for the cause.
