Parklands Junior School, Havering Road, Romford, was inspected on Tuesday, November 8, and a report published on Friday, gave the school an overall rating of ‘good’.

In 2014, the school received a ‘requires improvement’ rating but worked hard to make the changes needed.

“We are delighted that Ofsted have recognised the significant improvements at Parklands Junior School,” headteacher, Julie Wilson said.

“The senior leadership team, school staff and governors have worked hard to achieve this judgement.

“However, our pupils deserve huge credit for their hard work and outstanding behaviour.”
