A popular performing arts college has closed after more than three decades due to “financial challenges”.
CPA Studios, North Street, Romford, which trains children as young as three-years-old in performing arts, sent letters to its students announcing that it will no longer be open.
In the letter, it states: “We regret to inform you that as of August 7 2018, CPA Studios has stopped operating due to financial challenges that we have been unable to overcome.
“Due to this, CPA Studios will be unable to provide further tuition to all students, including those studying for the Trinity College London Level 6 diploma in musical theatre.”
The studios became a registered charity in 2011 and also helped students get a chance to audition for professional work in musical theatre, television, commercials, live events, pantomime and films.
