A Romford dance studio collaborated with the choreographer of the Paralympic Games opening ceremony to prove actions speak louder than words.
CPA studios worked with Deaf Men Dancing, the dance troupe led by Paralympic choreographer Mark Smith, to produce a 30-minute piece of “sign dance”, fusing dance steps and sign language. CPA is based on North Street and tutors young performers from across the borough.
The groups showcased the piece at the Ilford Exchange Shopping Centre on Saturday (May 26th).
