Smith special lights up triumph
After four successive defeats, Romford got their Ryman One North campaign back on track with a 3-0 win over Ware.
Manager Paul Martin had claimed he was not panicking about his side’s recent struggles and saw them move back into the top five with their Mill Field success.
Paul Kavanagh’s free-kick put Boro ahead and Kurt Smith added a stunning second before Petrit Elbi sealed the points with his first goal since rejoining the club.
And Boro will be aiming to keep the feel-good factor alive when they entertain Redbridge, who were beaten 2-0 at Brentwood, on Tuesday.
