Rats, cobwebs, skeletons, eyeballs, bats, spiders and even a graveyard helped make the Hornchurch and Upminster Sea Cadets' unit the place for some spooky Halloween games last night.

Cadets and staff arrived for the evening dressed as ghouls, vampires and monsters, before taking part in activities such as a race to mummify a staff member, a walk through a spider-filled corridor, and a “pin the nose on the pumpkin” heat.

The main deck, transformed into a spooky cave with graves, rats and spiders, set the scene for the evening’s fun.
