More than 200 dressed to impress at the Havering Fashion Heroes event on Monday.

The show, at the Brickyard Bar and Grill in South Street, Romford, showcased the talents of local businesses in the borough while raising money for Help for Heroes.

The show was organised by Karen Wilton, owner of The Only Way Is Bikinis, and compered by Adam Ryan, the organiser of Essex Fashion Week who has also appeared in The Only Way Is Essex (Towie). Also at the event was new Towie star James Locke, and impersonator Dean Taylor, who dressed up as Keith Lemon and Simon Cowell.

Louise Lawrence, of Romford, won the best dressed prize with her lime green bodycon dress. She won £2,500 worth of prizes, sponsored by RM Magazine and Positive Media. Louise said she was there to support her brother Luke, who went to Afghanistan 10 days earlier.
