The team lifted a replica of the famous trophy after defeating Costa Rica in a tense final at Playfootball on Saturday.

Even though the African nation - represented by Barking Football Club - were triumphant in the tournament, the trophy was taken home by organiser 12-year-old Jonjo Heuerman who the winning team felt deserved it most.

Jonjo has raised more than £180,000 for the Bobby Moore Fund over the last three years in memory of his grandmother. Saturday’s world cup event, which saw youth teams represent nations from around the world, added £1,000 to his fundraising total.
