Romford’s Queen’s Hospital became the latest recipient of a special Royal portrait.
Local MP Andrew Rosindell (Romford, Conservative) visited Queen’s to present a portrait of its namesake – Her Majesty the Queen.
Mr Rosindell has been distributing hundreds of the portraits throughout the borough this year to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
The cost of the pictures, which number about 350, has been covered through donations.
The portrait will be displayed in the main atrium of the hospital to welcome visitors and patients.
Chief exec Averil Dongworth said: “It is only right that there is a picture of the Queen in Queen’s Hospital to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.”
