A Romford man is hoping to raise thousands for charity.

Scott Emmons, 27, will be holding a seven-a-side charity football match for the NSPCC tomorrow (November 25) at Wanstead Cricket Club, Overton Drive at 11am.

Scott said: “The NSPCC does such vital work to help protect vulnerable children and young people, and I couldn’t think of a more worthy cause to raise funds for.”

Scott is also planning a number of other events for the charity, including a climb to Ecudor next September, which he hopes will take him up to his target of 5,000.

To raise funds for the charity call Debbie Knighs on 07789 692957 or email Debbie.knights@nspcc.org.uk.
