Driving off without paying for his petrol landed a man with a £483 bill.
As well as paying Tesco in Main Road, Romford, £68.68 for the unleaded petrol he stole, David Lee, of Pettits Lane, must pay a £300 fine, £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
Lee, 36, pleaded guilty and was sentenced at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on April 15.
He had committed the offence on October 1.
