A Romford girl guiding group celebrated three of its members gaining a special award.
The successful teens, including Eleanor Saunders and Lauren Higgins, both 15, are members of the 11th Romford Guides, led by Kathryn Andrews and Janet Ross.
The Baden Powell Challenge badge is the highest badge that can be given to a guide. Candidates must complete a range of tasks promoting causes like healthy lifestyles and political awareness, as well as demonstrating leadership to other guides.
Ms Andrews said: “It’s a special award because not all guides achieve it. They have to put that bit of extra effort into gaining it.”
