A YOUNG Romford employee has taken a death-defying leap for charity, helping to raise more than £400.

Stacey Wisbey, 24, from the Game store in The Mall, Romford, was on a high after parachuting 12,000ft from a plane last month.

The sponsored jump saw her raise £428.50 for charity Children’s Hospice UK.

Stacey said: “The experience was absolutely fantastic, the best adrenalin rush I have ever had.

“I can’t wait to do it again.”

The Mall general manager Peter Callagher added: “This is not the first time that one of our retailers has risked life and limb for charity and Stacey’s leap of faith has to be commended. Well done.”
