Police requested that all pupils are kept inside a Collier Row primary school following an “emergency” incident earlier today.

A Metropolitan police spokeswoman told the Recorder that they were called to an incident at 1.35pm today (Friday, November 23) in Collier Row.

They believe it to be an incident involving a dispute between drivers.

Parents at Parklands Infant School in Havering Road received notifications from the school that said, “due to an emergency outside the school gates police have requested that all children are kept in school until further notice.”

As of 4pm today, the school has reopened.
