A 23-year-old man from Romford who was caught drink-driving has been banned from the roads for 18 months.
Martins Volks, 23, of Lindfield Road, was also fined £350 after he was caught on the M11 at Junction 7 northbound at 9.35am on June 11
He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and £35 victim surcharge for drink driving and fined £50 for not attending court.
Points were also added to Volks licence for driving with no insurance.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “Another drink driver has been convicted following our summer anti-drink and drug driving campaign.
“The campaign ran between June 1 and June 30 and 107 people were arrested.
A further 148 people have been arrested during Essex Police’s Christmas anti-drink and drug driving campaign.
The campaign ran from December 1to January 1 during which 102 people were arrested for drink-related offences and 46 for drug-related offences.
