Redden Court pupils celebrate top results

Redden Court School, in Cotswold Road, Romford, has celebrated its top exam results, with Hornchurch and Upminster MP Dame Angela Watkinson.
The school’s English Baccalaureate results were the best of all non-selective schools in Havering and well above the national average.
The indicator measures the percentage of pupils in a school who achieve five or more A*-C grades in traditionally academic subjects.
41 per cent of Redden Court School students achieved A*-C grades in GCSE English, maths, science, history, geography and a modern foreign languages.
The national average of students achieving A*- C grades in all these subjects is 24pc.
School President, Lucy Eost, said:
“We know we need excellent exam results to help us achieve our dreams and our dedicated teachers are giving us every opportunity to do this.”
Headteacher, Mr Paul Ward, added:
“I am very proud of our success in the English Baccalaureate.
“This is down to the diligence of our students and the hard work of all my staff who strive to deliver a first class education to all our students.”
