Brit Pop, double denim and baseball caps made a comeback in the Recorder office today, all in the name of charity.

The Recorder news team journeyed back in time donning our favourite 1990s outfits and enjoying luminous throwback snacks including Iced Gems and Party Rings.

The fundraiser celebrated children’s charity First Step’s 27th birthday and raised more than £75 towards our Fundraise on the First campaign, which has been running since January.

In the last 10 months Recorder readers have raised more than £44,000 for the charity based in Tangmere Crescent, Hornchurch.
