Time FM Steve Allen hosted the news chat with Recorder editor Chris Carter

Recorder editor Chris Carter made his second appearance on local radio today discussing the top news stories of the week.

Chris was a guest of Time 107.5 FM’s afternoon DJ Steve Allen in a weekly spot featuring stories in the Redbridge, Havering and Barking and Dagenham areas.

The discussion, which also featured Time FM newsman Ben Vaughan, focused on Monday’s Redbridge Youth Debate, a man with an obsession with James Bond and a Dagenham mountaineer who changed his name to Teddy Bear to raise sponsorship.

Chris said: “I was keen to highlight the fantastic work of Redbridge Youth Council and the lively debate which I chaired.

“We also like to feature some of the quirky stories of the week, to whet listeners appetite for the papers.”
