Officers from Rainham and Wennington Safer Neighbourhood team joined forces with the Havering Youth Offending team to clean up their area.
The community clear up day took place recently in the area close to Randall Court, Rainham.
Sergeant Matt Chatters of Rainham and Wennington Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “We are pleased to have been invited to become involved in this very worthwhile project.
“There is no doubt that the look of an area can raise people’s fear of crime. By ensuring that the area looks cared for will help reduce the fear of crime for local residents.”
