The burglary happened in Prestwood Drive, Collier Row, on Thursday


A 42-year-old man has been charged with an aggravated burglary in Collier Row on Halloween.

Peter Carter, of Farm Road, Rainham, appeared in Barkingside Magistrates’ Court yesterday charged with the raid in Prestwood Drive on Thursday last week.

Carter, who remains in custody, has yet to enter a plea, and will be back before the court on November 18.

Police are still hunting two other men following the incident, at 9.45pm.
