Residents are invited to a race night in aid of St Francis Hospice.
Coral Romford Greyhound Stadium in London Road, Romford is hosting the event on Saturday February 23 at 7.30pm.
The event is set to feature 13 races and a raffle with a top prize on offer for a day at Newmarket Racecourse for two people.
The charity is looking for people, companies or organnisations to sponsor a greyhound or race.
It costs �20 to sponsor a dog and there is a bottle of wine on offer for each race winner and for a minimum of �200 you can sponsor a race, which can be named after you or your company or as a tribute to someone special and you will get to present the trophy to the race winner.
Gates open at 6.30pm and the first race is at 7.30pm.
