A unique garden which has been enchanting visitors for years is opening up to members of the public once more.

Maureen Keating and her partner Mike Hacker are set to welcome the community for the 11th time to their home in Ashurst Drive, Barkingside, which features a model railway, seven water features and a secret garden.

They have raised almost £5,000 for Saint Francis Hospice in the last five years and donated money to a different charity previously.

The open day is taking place on Sunday from 12.30-5pm. Entry is £2.50 and refreshments will be available.

The garden, at 254 Ashurst Drive, made it to the top four of the Daily Mail National Garden Competition last year, out of 1,800 entries.
