Where do you go for a quiet breakfast if you’re a multi-award winning pop star with millions of fans worldwide? Cosy Cafe in Ardleigh Green of course.

Pop sensation Ed Sheeran, whose platinum selling records include The A Team and Thinking Out Loud, visited the cafe at about 8am yesterday.

Manager Joe Beser said staff did not realise they were serving a platinum selling artist until he was spotted by staff and students from Ardleigh Green Junior School.

The pop star paused to take a quick selfie with the pupils.

Joe said he would be keeping the star’s order sheet, which reveals he ate eggs, sausages, bacon. hash browns, beans and scrambled eggs.

It seems Ed enjoyed his breakfast tweeting “FRY UP GET IN ME” to his 14.3million followers.
