Police seek man after machete attack in Collier Row

Police have issued an appeal after a 53-year-old victim was stabbed with a machete in Collier Row, last Wednesday morning.

Detectives would like to speak with Jimmy Eastwood, 38, in connection with the incident, where the 53-year-old victim suffered stab wounds to his chest and back.

The assault occurred at 11.45am last Wednesday, outside Brewers Decorator Centre, Collier Row Road, and the victim remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Jimmy Eastwood is known to frequent Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Ilford and Essex

Now detectives would like to hear from anyone who knows of Eastwood’s location or who witnessed the assault.
