Police are hunting a 29-year-old man who failed to return to prison after he was temporarily released.

Romford man Peter Gilheney is a prisoner at HMP Standford Hill in Sheppey, Kent. The prison is a category D open prison and handles people nearing the end of their sentences.

Gilheney failed to return to Standford Hill on January 28 after being released on a temporary license.

He is 5ft 2in and stockily built.
