Police search for moped rider who attacked bus in Harold Hill with fire extinguisher

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a bus driver was attacked with a fire extinguisher in Harold Hill.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed officers were called at 6.27pm on Monday to reports of an incident in Dagnam Park Drive.

He said: “The driver or passenger of a moped had thrown a white substance - thought to be from a fire extinguisher - through the window of a bus

“The driver sustained no lasting injury.”

The London Fire Brigade were also called to the scene.

Anyone with any information in relation to the driver or passenger of the moped is asked to call Romford Police via 101.
